Why is it that when I try to talk to people about how I'm feeling they either ignore me or tell me I'm wrong about it?

I wish I knew rather this guy likes me or not. I really need somebody I can trust to talk to me about it. I've asked other people and tell them what kind of "signals" he gives me, and they all tell me the same answer.

Why is it when I make a request thread on Gaia asking for art, or posting a charity, none of my other friends come and help me bump it. I might have two or three friends help me, but what about the other ones? I see them helping other people all the time. Why doesn't anybody help me?
